1.       CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL

1. Kris Motoyoshi, President, called the meeting to order.
    

2. Nancy Abbott, Convention Hostess, welcome to Washington DC.  Regional Directors were introduced.
    

3. Checked for quorum.  40 needed.  55 present.

2.      Reports

A.         Kris Motoyoshi, President—Charlie Williams appointed.  Deborah Murphy resigned.

B.         Brenda Simpson, Recording Secretary.  Minutes were distributed.

MOTION—Nancy Abbott moved that group accept 2008 minutes.  Brenda Simpson seconded.  Motion approved.

C.         Deborah Murphy, Convention Manager

                              a.            Deceased.  Alan LeBendig and Duane Rancourt.

                              b.            30 less this year.  484 total.

                              c.            Vendors.  Dee Berry, Leslie Shafer, George Yako, Ray Spalding.

D.         Ginny Schuett, Applebasket.  Passed out ballots.

E.         Other—Need people to chair seminars and convention, recording secretary, historian, publicity, and bylaws/standing rules.

MOTION:  Nancy Abbott moved that the slate be approved by acclimation.  Mary Angela Joseph seconded.  Motion passed.
