In teaching, I have noticed that my students when defending, often hold their Ace of Trump until they can trump in. I use the word “twofer” to teach if they have three to the Ace, to play the Ace on the second trump draw and then play their 3rd trump drawing opponent’s “2 for 1”. It also works for the declarer when they have an outstanding high trump. They should not play “twofer” or 2 of their trumps to draw the high trump. It is funny how a little word sticks when you can talk all day in plain English.
