1. Can I get a sample of a Master Point Press book to review before I decide to use it for lessons?
In general, Master Point Press does not provide sample copies of books to teachers. You can view sample excerpts from all of our books, which include the table of contents and the first few pages at www.masterpointpress.com. We also provide descriptions for all of our books with reviews from readers and the press. You can also check our specials page for discounted featured books. If you feel you have a special need then email us at marketing {at} masterpointpress.com for assistance.
2. I found a problem in a book you need to know about.
Email us at editorial {at} masterpointpress.com with the title of the book, the page you found the problem and a description of the problem. We keep track of all the problems we find in books and we fix them at the next printing.
3. I have been working on a great bridge book and I wonder if you would be interested in publishing it?
We are always interested in working with new authors. Send an outline, table of contents and sample chapter to editorial {at} masterpointpress.com. It's also helpful to tell us who the book is aimed at.
Be aware that our resources are limited and we are only able to publish about ten new books each year so even though your book may be very good it simply may not fit into our publishing plans. We will always provide you with some feedback.
4. I have a great idea for a bridge book. I don't want to write it but I would love to see it available.

5. I was sad to see that several titles in the Bridge Technique series are no longer in print. Is there any way that I can get hold of them?
At this point we are not planning on reprinting any Bridge Technique books. However, we are planning to provide ebook (electronic book) versions of these books this fall. Check our news page for updates about upcoming ebooks.

We do provide deep discounts for bulk purchases of some books. Check out our bulk orders page for current offers.
7. Is Master Point Press interested in helping me with a charity event I am organizing?
At Master Point Press we believe in helping the bridge community. As you can appreciate we do not have the resources to provide support for every request. However, if you have a worthy cause, send us an email at marketing {at} masterpointpress.com and we will help out when we can.
8. Why is the price of books cheaper in one country than another?
It is amazing how fast the exchange rate changes. Books have the price printed right on them; they may have been published several years ago and in the interval the exchange rate has fluctuated. For example as we write this the Canadian dollar is now about $0.94 U.S. and only a few weeks ago it was over $1.00 U.S. while four years ago it was $0.65. It is impossible for us to keep current with a fast moving exchange rate. Our books are priced in three currencies: U.S. dollars, Canadian dollars and British pounds sterling. We price our books based on the book market in each country and exchange rates are only one factor in the pricing decision. However, we are very aware of the exchange rates and we do our best to be as fair as possible.
9. Will you ever publish the follow-up to Paul Thurston's 2/1 book?
We get asked this question a lot. We would love to publish Paul's next book. Some of us play 2/1 and we would love to read it too! Paul has sent us the first five chapters. When we have the whole book we will let you all know and we can provide a firm publishing date then.
10. How can I contact one of your authors?
